New information on course schedule, registration for classes

May 22, 2020

Dear UO students,

The fall class schedule and information about registration priority for students will be available on June 1. On that date, you will be able to find out your registration date and time for fall classes in DuckWeb.

Registration times will run from June 2-5 and from June 8-11. Please note that there will be no registration start times over the weekend between the two sets of dates. However, students may register any time after their initial registration time.

Students are encouraged to contact an advisor to discuss fall term (contact information is available on the Academic Advising website), however advisors will not have access to review the class schedule until June 1. Advisors will be able to offer better information and recommendations to students if appointments or drop-in occur after the class schedule has posted.

Please bear in mind that advisors may not be able to speak with all students prior to their registration start time because the class schedule release occurs one day prior to the start of registration. However, advisors are available throughout the month of June and all summer to provide guidance around fall class schedules.

Students who plan to take summer courses are encouraged to register as soon as possible. It’s important to sign up for your classes right away because course offerings are determined in large part by enrollment.

For more information about summer classes, please go to the Office of the Registrar’s website. Information about the fall course schedule will be available on the website beginning June 1.

I hope you and your family are safe and healthy.

Sincerely,

Doneka R. Scott
